Prof. Yoram Eden,

Head of the Interdisciplinary
Faculty for Society and Community
and Chair of the Department of
Economics and Accounting

Prof. Yoram Eden is Head of the Interdisciplinary Faculty for
Society and Community, and Chair of the Department of
Economics and Accounting. He is also a member of the Executive
Committee of HAC’s Board of Directors. Yoram earned a B.A.
in Accounting, MBA and a Ph.D. in Finance and Accounting from
Tel Aviv University, and a B.A. in Economics from The Hebrew
University. Yoram came to HAC after 16 years at The College
of Management - Academic Studies, where he served as Vice
President for Academic Affairs during 2013-2016. He is the author
of four books and countless articles that have been published in
industry journals in Israel and abroad.
“Coming to HAC was a huge change compared to The College
of Management,” he says. “HAC has flourished in recent years.
We have become the second largest educational institution
in Jerusalem after The Hebrew University." When asked what
impresses him about HAC, Yoram cites the tremendous growth in
the number of students and faculty in recent years, the emphasis
on faculty research, and HAC’s efforts in preparing students for
the workplace without compromising academic excellence.
